in central Maine.Based in Augusta, CANMP (pronounced "camp") embraces immigrants as “New Mainers” who bring much-needed diversity, energy, and vitality to our area.
Providing bail and legal fees for people who have been kidnapped in the local area–from Waterville and Augusta to Waldo County–and providing financial support and help with rent because so many families are sheltering in place, afraid to go to work.
Mission is to improve legal, social, and economic conditions for immigrants in the state of Maine.
